This private class involves playing with multiple fused-glass techniques for new fusers.
Spend two three-hour sessions being introduced to the wonderful world of fused glass possibilities.
Each day has two “Try It” projects to introduce new fusers to working with one layer, two layers, voids in layers, and the influence of multiple layers of glass. You will learn how different kiln working temperatures affect the texture as well as shape of the final products.
Day 1 – Small, single-layer dishes, picture frames, or pocket vase
Day 2 – A 7” lens plate and a 6” bubble plate
Extra opportunities, time permitting, include fused hearts, splat magnets, and dichroic cabochons.
Wear close-toed shoes and long pants.
Bring a notebook or sketchbook to each session in order to record the information provided.
