An introduction to the vast world of enameling and how to add dynamic color to your jewelry.

About this Class

We'll cover torch and kiln firing, painting and sifting techniques, metal preparation, and several enameling techniques.

Completion of this introductory class gains you access to focused open studio times for enameling and use of the enameling equipment (open studio time for enameling is separate from general open studio due to the sensitivity of the materials).

  • A $30 materials fee is included in the cost of the class and all base materials will be provided.
  • No jewelry experience is needed. This class fulfills the prerequisite for other enameling classes on the schedule.
  • We will take one 15-30 minute break if you want to bring food/ snacks. BARN has a refrigerator and microwave on the lower level.
