Make a felt bag or tablet sleeve covered with your favorite design while you learn to use a variety of cutting tools.

About this Class

Explore the creative possibilities of felt. This magical material can be cut and shaped in many ways, and it never frays. You’ll use rotary cutters to cut out thick felt for the body of your bag, and then other cutting tools to cut shapes to decorate your bag. Flowers, stripes, polka dots, birds, bees, or other animals - any and all will look great! Based on the shapes, you’ll choose the best method for attaching them, assemble your bag or sleeve, and add a handle, if you like.

Show off your creation at school, or store treasures in it in your room!
