About this Class

You will explore the five stages of the creative process and apply it to printmaking. These steps will help you get inspired and learn new techniques–empowering you to kick-start your creative process.

We will learn about the 5 stages of the creative process while exploring printmaking. These steps will help us get inspired, discover and learn new techniques all while empowering us with the critical thinking needed when being creative

Details

  • For students ages 12-16.

Project

Students will use printmaking to explore the 5 stages of the creative process. 

Materials

There is a $30 materials fee included in the cost of the class. 

Students are encouraged to bring whatever sketchbook or drawings they have been working on and whatever drawing tools they prefer.

Class Policies

  • When you register your youth, enter their name in the Youth's Name field and enter the parent/guardian email address for "registrants email." All reminders and important information will go to this email.

Instructor

Lauren Campbell has established herself as a prolific artist in the Pacific Northwest.  Lauren has been featured locally at the Poulsbo Art Festival and The Bar at Cafe Hitchcock.  Shortly after completing her printmaking studies at the University of Washington, Lauren became involved with the BARN, where she has taught during the Teen Night programs.
