Chances are, you have a smartphone with cameras good enough to shoot a feature film built right into them. But, what if you wanted to get even more out of your own smartphone?

In this one-day intensive introductory course, you will learn how to make the most of your mobile phone’s video capabilities.

Through hands-on practice exercises and instructor demonstrations you will learn about a broad range of accessories, apps and techniques that you can use to make your video pop off whatever screen it’s destined for.

Whether you want to make a feature film, a YouTube tutorial, or an amazing looking vacation video that your friends will envy, this course will help you get up and running.

Instructor:

Courtney G. Jones is a 30 year veteran of the film & television industry who has been an advocate for the kind of accessibility mobile filmmaking brings to creators for several years. Not only does Courtney serve as Head of Development for Steve Zahn & Rick Gomez’s company, Macaroni Art Productions, but he has produced and directed feature films, commercials, documentaries, and series… some of which have been shot on mobile. Mr. Jones brings a wealth of technical and creative know-how to the classroom.

Courtney’s main goal with teaching mobile content creation is to show that anyone can make something amazing with the technology that is in their pocket.

When Courtney is not writing, producing, filming, editing or teaching, he’s typically daydreaming about flying, living on a boat, or trying out new recipes in the kitchen.
