Curious about quilting? Learn a quick technique - Quilt As You Go – in which the piecing and quilting are the same step!
Start with a quick orientation to BARN's sewing machines, and soon you'll be sewing straight seams.
You’ll use pre-cut fabric strips to limit the time required for cutting, and you’ll finish the placemats with an easy zig-zag around the edges. You likely will complete two placemats during class. If you need more time, you can arrange a time to finish with the instructor.

Fran Fuller learned to sew when she was 6 or 7 from her mother, who was a knowledgeable, creative, and precise sewist and a very encouraging teacher. In high school and college, Fran made a lot of her own clothing. Since retiring, she has branched out to sewing other projects, too.
