BARN's Connections & Inclusion Committee is starting a new series, Community Conversations. Each gathering will be an opportunity to share, listen, reflect, and grow together as a community. The topics discussed will support BARN's core value of Inclusivity. Join us for our first conversation of the series - Exploring Our Unconscious Biases.

Unconscious biases are social stereotypes that are formed outside our conscious awareness. We all hold unconscious beliefs about various social and identity groups, and these biases stem from a tendency to organize social worlds by categorizing them.

In your registration confirmation email, you will receive information to reflect on as an individual prior to the event. The gathering will begin with a short introduction followed by small group conversations. We look forward to learning from one another in a safe and welcoming space.
