Summer Youth: Crystal Power Jewelry Camp (Ages 10-12)

In this camp, you'll learn all about crystals, how they are formed, where they grow, and what magical powers some people believe they have. We'll make Geode pendants, learn how to wire wrap quartz, string a crystal beaded sun catcher, and make crystal wire rings to take home.

Details:

• This class is for youth ages 10-12. 
• Registration closes on Wednesday, July 20 at 9:00 am.
• When you register your youth, please enter their name in the Youth's Name field and enter the parent/guardian email address for "registrants email". All reminders and important information will go to the email address you register with.
• Please complete and return this minor permission form by July 20.

Instructor Bio: 

Sarah Jones is a BARN founding member, jewelry studio programming, and steering committee, member. She is a local Bainbridge Island artist, and teacher with experience in fine metal arts, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, stained glass, and photography. 

Because Sarah is a visual and tactile learner herself, her classes typically involve a lot of hands-on learning time. In addition, Sarah’s classes are accompanied by printed information and resources for her students to refer back to when practicing their new skills. 

Sarah’s art has been displayed in the Seattle Metals Guild exhibitions and Bainbridge Arts & Craft exhibitions.
