Join experienced glass artist Donna Rodger for a beginning glass casting class. No previous glass skills are required. Start with glass shards and finish with nine pocket hearts. Make a casting pan of 2-inch glass pocket hearts using a basic casting technique. These hearts are perfect for Valentine's Day, someone special, or a nice way to say thank you.

You can bring one friend, child, or grandchild with you. Youth must be fully vaccinated by the start of this class. Please choose the appropriate registration category if you are bringing a youth.

  • Enrollment: 1-2 people per workspace (1 casting pan of 9 hearts). Fully vaccinated individuals (includes appropriate boosters) including youth ages 12-18 years old welcome with a parent, relative, or guardian. Note: some hand strength is needed to nip glass, adults may need to help 12-year-olds. Please choose Guest - Bringing a youth or Member Bringing a youth during registration if you are bringing a youth.
  • Remember to wear close-toed shoes & long pants in the Glass Studio at all times! This is a strictly enforced safety policy. Thank you.
