Do you play a guitar, violin, mandolin, cello or other stringed instrument but aren't sure how to care for it? Are you interested in learning luthier skills to make or repair stringed instruments?

On the second Wednesday of each month, gather with other players and makers of stringed instruments in an informal setting where you can learn from one another. These sessions will be hosted by Wayne Johnson, owner of Irvin Guitars, who makes fine hand-crafted acoustic steel-string guitars, and Clay Levit, a fiddle player and former owner of the Fiddler's Green Music Shop in Austin, who makes violins.

Depending on group interest, these sessions may evolve to include presentations on specific topic, and they may also lead to classes such as building a dulcimer or learning to create inlays. It's a great opportunity to get answers to your questions and share your suggestions.
