In this two-day workshop, you will learn to measure, score, cut, fold, and glue paper to construct boxes. On the morning of the first session, the class will do 3 warm-up exercises: 1) covering a piece of board, 2) covering an existing box, & 3) assembling a box tray from pre-cut pieces.
In the afternoon and during the second session, you will design and make your own boxes. Carolina will skillfully guide and coach each of you in constructing a box that is as simple or as complex as you choose.
These techniques can be used to recover a variety of existing boxes and in creating new ones. All materials will be supplied.
