November Maker Mondays: Choose Your Project—Open Labs
Build on the skills you developed in one of our past youth classes to come up with your own project and discover the fiber artist in you! Fiber arts include sewing, knitting, weaving, embroidery, and other similar crafts.
We will have Fiber Arts artisans in the fiber studio each week to help you design and work on your own fiber project. Want to knit a scarf? Want to sew pajama bottoms or a top? How about making a menagerie of felted animals or a flock or embroidered birds? How about upcycling some worn out jeans? Or how about making a macramé plant holder or wall hanging? These three Monday afternoons will be your time to explore the fiber arts that interest you!
After you register, please email email@example.com and let us know the project you have in mind so we can have the appropriate expert to assist you.
Materials fee: $10, plus you may want to bring your own supplies to complete your project.
What supplies students should bring:
Any supplies you want to use. The fiber arts studio also has a stash of yarn and fabric you can scrounge through.
