The Writers Studio is delighted to welcome award-winning author Bonny Becker to our series of Third Thursday events. This will be a wonderful opportunity to be part of a conversation with Bonny about her writing life, her books, or wherever else your questions take her.

Bonny Becker is the author of 16 award-winning children’s books, including the best-selling Mouse and Bear picture books. The first in the series, A Visitor for Bear, was a New York Times bestseller, winner of the E.B. White Read Aloud Award and the SCBWI Golden Kite. Among her other books are The Christmas Crocodile with Caldecott-winning illustrator, David Small (a Nancy Pearl Book Crush Rediscovery book). Her latest books include A Christmas for Bear and The Frightful Ride of Michael McMichael, winner of the Parent’s Choice Fun Award. She was on the faculty of the Northwest Institute of Literary Arts, an MFA program on Whidbey Island and has worked for years as a freelance editor. Bonny lives in Seattle with her husband and has two adult daughters.
