Traditional Knife-Making: Use a forge to heat pieces of steel red hot and hammer them into the shape and edge of a knife. Repeat, again and again. Temper and quench. Then grind a final edge. You have a hand made knife to fit with a handle.
The knife-making class serves as an introduction to basic blacksmithing. The traditional knife-making class is a three and a half hour hands-on class culminating in completion of a hand made knife.
