Sharp tools are your friends. Dull tools can be dangerous and lead to breakage. Learn how to sharpen drills up to 1/2” diameter using the Darex Drill Sharpener in the Metal Fabrication machine shop. This machine generates the correct geometry on your drill tip for even cutting and longer life. Bring in some of your own drills to practice.

Instructor Bio: Peter Moseley is a retired mechanical engineer and manufacturing manager who’s shop experience includes making operating live steam 2.5”/foot scale narrow gauge model locomotives along with an associated outdoor railroad.
