This class will give you the knowledge and creative spark you need to support your goal of eating more veggies in 2019. We will focus on how to prep, plan as well as how to stay on track with adding more plant-based meals to your routine. Chef Nancy will demonstrate how to turn prepped vegetables, grains, and beans, into meals like veggie burgers, casseroles and power bowls with an eye for fast, simple and nutrient dense. We will sample a variety of foods and everyone will leave with a template for creating a meal plan, recipes and a creative spark to create a meal you and your family will enjoy. All foods sampled in class will be vegan and gluten free.
There will be a $15 materials fee.
Instructor Bio:
Nancy Travis has studied and cooked whole food plant based for over 25 years. She co-owned a vegetarian fast food restaurant chain in the 90’s and recently had a grab and go café on Bainbridge island. Currently her business Sukhi Kitchen provides vegetarian and vegan personal chef services and kitchen coaching to Bainbridge Island families.
