Join instructor Sarah Ahmadi to learn how to make an authentic basic rice dish served throughout Iran. You will learn what other ingredients can be added to vary this basic recipe. You will go home with recipes and serving suggestions.
We will all cook together and share dinner at the end.

Class Level: All levels welcome, ages 14 and up.
There will be an additional materials fee of $5 when you register.
About the instructor: Sarah Ahmadi
"I am new to the United States as I grew up in Shiraz, a very beautiful city in northwest Iran. I started cooking in High School but from the time I was a small child I watched my mother in the kitchen. There were 7 daughters in my home, but I was the only one interested in cooking. A single mother, I wanted to come to America to provide a better education and life for my son. After waiting for 3 long years in Turkey, Amir and I arrived here in January, 2017, among the last people who allowed to enter before the travel ban. I am looking forward to sharing family recipes with all of you here!"
