This is the follow-up session of the popular Ready, Set, Shoot: How to Photograph Glass and Jewelry Successfully. However, if you have photos you'd like to tweak this class is for you too!  Jerry Davis is back to show you how to make the photos that you took look better with photo processing.  Transform your photos from ho-hum to eye-popping:  learn to crop; add artistic elements; adjust color, brightness, sharpness, and contrast; correct flaws; and use special effects.

You can participate in the class in three ways:

  1. Bring your laptop, photos, and photo processing software, such as Photoshop, Lightroom, or any other.

  2. If you do not have a laptop to bring, we will have two computers on-site running Photoshop Elements.  You can practice on these if you bring a flash/thumb drive with your photos on it.  If not, we will have sample photos you can use.

  3. You can also just watch as Jerry demonstrates what to do. Then, take this knowledge home with you to practice on your own.

INSTRUCTOR: Jerry Davis has been a photographer for over forty years.  Part of that time he was a craftsman as well.   After photographing his own work, he started shooting photos for other artists.  Much of their work was in glass or silver.  Yes, he started with the hard stuff.  He often traveled to the artists' locations so they could have full access to their creations.   He constructed many small photo studios in the artists' workshops.  Jerry works with available light, natural light, continuous lights, and strobes.
