For youth ages 12-15
Summer on Bainbridge Island provides many unique culinary opportunities. Access to local and fresh agriculture and the Sound is a bountiful feast to be had - if you know where to look. This 5 session camp will introduce students to local farms through their summer Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes easily available on Bainbridge this time of year. We may also explore locally available seafood. More importantly, students will come away having learned how to prepare and enjoy the local harvest.
There is an additional Materials Fee of $50 that will be added to the price of class when you register.
Instructor:Marcela Sandoval is a classically trained Chef and has years of cooking abroad and instructing kids of all ages.
