Monthly meeting of the Kitchen Arts studio:
Not plants, the refreshing, bracing and yummy fruit drink. We'll explore this delicious heat-beating combination (non-alcoholic version) on Thursday, Sept 8 at Rolling BARN, 7 to 8 pm. If you have experience, please come and share; and even if you don't, please come and learn what we've discovered in a short time of investigating.
We will also be adding an apple pressing session to our monthly meeting. Thanks to David Grant, a BARN board member and woodworker, BARN has it's very own apple press!
Bring apples and clean containers and press some cider to take home. If you don't have trees, the Johnson Farm on Fletcher Bay has apples galore to collect off the ground. They need not be perfect, but choose the better ones. Wash them and bring them to Rolling BARN. We'll go out back and see how the press works.

See you Thursday, September 8 at 7 pm!
